Your Monthly Money Journey
Sometimes a simple invitation can change your
life!
Over the next 12 months, you're invited to take a
personal Money Journey with Women's Perspective. We suggest
recording your thoughts and information in a private journal that
you can refer back to occasionally.
Let's start with a
mini-inventory of what you understand about your financial
life today:
My financial life is: ___ in order ___
could use some work ___ a mess ___ a catastrophe ___
managed by others ___ other:______________
When I consider
my financial life, I feel: ___ ready to know more ___ open to
some input ___ secure ___ calm ___ embarrassed ___
overwhelmed ___ confused ___ scared ___ angry
When I
consider my spiritual life: ___ I believe there is a
Divinity. ___ I feel removed from it. ___ I'm not sure what I
believe.
I would describe my spiritual life as: ___
active ___ dormant ___ a "sometime" thing ___ unable to
describe
Next: What does money mean to you? Jot down what comes
immediately to mind, without analyzing or judging your
responses.
- Money means ...
- To be poor means ...
- To be rich means ...
- To have enough means ...
- When I share what I have, I feel ...
Next month: You'll explore your personal "money
messages." These are the myths about money you grew up with,
believe in and live out.
Can't wait till next
month? Speed ahead on your Money Journey using A Woman's
Book of Money & Spiritual Vision. The book is featured on our
website, with links to booksellers and the publisher.
Want to share Your Money Journey with others? We
recommend forming a group of 12 to 15 members, and meeting for 6 or
7 sessions. A book club can also explore the book during regular
meetings. To help you create a productive and enjoyable experience,
we're creating materials to assist group leaders.

Joint Workshop with Jean Bolen Will Explore Sources
of Feminine Wisdom & Money Issues in Connecticut,
September 18- 19
Together, we will discover and
identify our deep archetypal sources of wisdom, authenticity
and spirituality, and tap into this energy. By listening to
Jean and Rosemary and to each other when we meet in circles
with a spititual center, and by hearing our own thoughts and
what we voice, we'll develop a deeper understanding of our
personal soul and money issues. This can lead to more
meaningful choices about how we spend our energy, money and
life.
Jean
Bolen is a psychiatrist, a Jungian analyst in private
practice, Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, University of
California Medical Center, and an internationally known
lecturer. She is a prolific author, whose latest work is
Crones Don't Whine.
The two-day workshop will
take place in autumn splendor on the shore of Long Island
Sound at the Convent of
St. Birgitta in Darien, Conn. The cost is $250, including
lunches and materials. Registration is limited to 50
